Prior to being named the Managing Partner of the South Florida General Office, Rob Recine was the Senior Vice President in the Agency Department at New York Life, responsible for leading two of the company’s four sales regions – the Northeast and Pacific Zones, which together comprise 58 General Offices, about 6,000 agents, and 300 field managers.
Rob began his New York Life career in December 1994 as an agent in the Long island General Office and was appointed a Partner in June 1997; he ranked among the company’s top Partners each year, and the Long Island GO won two Chairman’s Trophies during his tenure there.
In November 2000, Rob accepted the position of Managing Partner for the Alaska General Office. Under his leadership, the production of the office nearly doubled over the next eight years, and the GO earned two national retention trophies, averaging 40% agent retention. In 2009, Rob was named Managing Partner of the Constitution General Office in Philadelphia. Over the course of his career, Rob qualified for the Partners Round Table three times, earned several national product trophies, and was elected to represent his peers on the Managing Partners Advisory Council.
Rob was named Vice President of the Pacific Zone in 2018, and he was promoted into his current role in April 2019.
Rob has served as treasurer for the Alaska State Life and Health Guarantee Association, as president of the Anchorage and Greater Philadelphia chapters of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and as Board Chair of After School All-Stars of Philadelphia- Camden.
Rob is a first-generation American, with parents who immigrated from Italy. He and wife Jennifer have two sons, Jack and Anthony. He is an avid poker player, motorcycle enthusiast, mountain biker, and snowmobiler.
